HARRY BOYS MNIMH Trained at the School of Herbal Medicine (Phytotherapy) in Tunbridge Wells, practising since 1987 as a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
Studied at Beaumont College in Eastbourne, was certified by the International Therapy Examination Council and has practised since 1993 as a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists. She qualified for reflexology at Brighton College of Technology in 1999 and is a member of the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies; also studied Advanced Reflexology Techniques, registering in 2001. Juliette trained subsequently in Hot Stone Massage, Japanese Face Massage, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candles. She also offers Aromatherapy Facials.
JOHN GAVIN BSc, LicAc, MBAcC, DipCHM, MRCHM Graduated from the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (Leamington Spa) in 1987 as a Licentiate in Acupuncture, and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. He studied also at the London Academy of Oriental Medicine for a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine and is a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
KIRSTEN GERMANN LicAc, MBAcC Trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine (East Grinstead), graduating as a Licentiate of Acupuncture in 1994. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Also works as a Yoga teacher.
JOHN HIRST MA, DHP(NC), NRHP, ALTT Gained a Diploma in Hypnosis and Psychotherapy from the National College and is a member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists. Qualified also in Reiki, he is a member of the Association of Light Touch Therapists.
CAROLINE HOLDING BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy Graduated from the University of Brighton in 2003, then gained hospital experience in paediatrics, respiratory and neurological conditions. She has a special interest in conditions of the lower limb, working with podiatrists on footwear and orthotics.
KARIN LUMPE BSc, MSc, MNFSH, MCThA Has worked as a healer member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers since 2005. She trained in Swedish Massage the same year, and is qualified also to give Ayurvedic Face Massage and Flower & Gem Essence Therapy, practising as a member of the Complementary Therapists Association.
LUCY-ANN PRIDEAUX MSc, BSc, RNutr Graduated with an MSc degree in Human Nutrition from Aberdeen University in 1997 and a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Southampton; is registered with the Nutrition Society. LUCILLA RAVENHILL ITEC, MBTER, MGCP Studied at Beaumont College in Eastbourne for certification in massage through the International Therapy Examination Council and qualified in 1990 with a Diploma in Aromatherapy. Trained also in Bowen Technique, she is a member of the Bowen Therapists European Register and the Guild of Complementary Practitioners.
GRAHAM ROBERTS DC Trained at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, graduating in 1983. He has been in practice since then as a Doctor of Chiropractic
Graduated from the University of Westminster, qualifying as a State Registered Chiropodist at the Chelsea School in 1996. He is member of the Chiropody Society.
Counselling and Psychology
We have three counsellors working in the clinic who are members of the Counselling Alliance, a local group practice.
Since completing her counselling training in 1996, Gill has been working privately with adult clients in Eastbourne. She also has considerable experience of working with young people: and employs a client-centred integrative approach in her work, with an interest in the spiritual aspect.
Greg sees clients privately as well as working in agencies where clients are referred by GPs and psychiatrists. He sees clients both individually to deal with issues including bereavement, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. He also sees couples who want help in dealing with their relationships. David is an experienced and BACP accredited counsellor, trainer and supervisor. He has worked for Cruse bereavement care, Addaction and YAC in Brighton, counselling in a variety of settings including drug and alcohol agencies and a secondary school.
